Yahoo Finance named Blink Fitness
the “Target of gyms”. Equinox, the Ritz-Carlton of fitness brands,
is the founders of this budget friendly gym brand. Blink Fitness is expanding
rapidly in New York and New Jersey. Blink Fitness ads feature real life models.
Blink Fitness has 3 monthly memberships, Gray, Green and
Blue. Each membership varies in access, guest privileges and other perks. The
best membership which I have is Green. It comes with all gym access, unlimited
guest privileges, 15% discount at Modell’s, referral bonus and $25 off at Citi
Bike. Usually Blink has a $5 initiation fee. An annual fee of $39 is billed.
They do not have complimentary towel service. You will have
to buy or bring your own towel. You can buy other items like a lock and protein
drinks which is convenient.
The décor exudes a good feeling vibe. There are two types of
lockers: a smaller locker for one day use and large locker in the male and
female locker rooms (during your workout stay). The facilities are well
maintained. You will find a few stations with sanitary wipes. This gym is great for someone who wants to
maintain or lose weight. If you want to increase your strength, New York Sports
Club has the equipment you need such as Olympic sized weights and supplies.
Blink Fitness offer a free one day trial use of their gyms.
