The highlight of this park is the 4.5 million blue nemophila
flowers bloom at the 3.5-hectare Miharashi Hills. This is known as Nemophila
Harmony, which is one of the biggest flower events in Japan. The best time to
see Nemophila Harmony is late April to early May. There are plenty of food
options. You can stop by a food truck section. The park has an amusement
section and other gardens. Luckily, we had enough time to check out the tulip
garden and ring a bell.
Ashikaga Flower Park
This is the best spot to view and smell the wisteria. These flowers also bloom in late April to early May. During our visit (Golden Week), everything was in bloom except for the golden wisteria (blooms in early May to mid-May). We got a chance to try the wisteria ice cream. Unfortunately, we did not have time to shop. The tour had an option for us to buy 3 souvenir items. There is no discount if you buy it through the tour.
The Skytree berries are so delicious. We had 30 minutes to
all you can eat strawberries and shopping. There are 4 rows of strawberries
plants in each greenhouse. They have a café and small dessert and souvenir
shop.
Pros of the Sunrise Tour
The total cost of the tour is cheaper than doing it yourself. You will save around 5,000 to 7,000 yen per person. You get a glimpse or highlight of each attraction. Our tour guide, Mako, was so cute and sweet.
